From borders and bureaucracy to openness and simplicity. With Localyze, we’re reimagining how people move for work by bringing together seamless technology, transparency and unrivalled service. We believe in freeing talent from borders, so we’re building a centralised platform for a decentralised world. A world where companies can hire from everywhere — and people can work and live where they want to.
We are as colourful as this photo and diversity is our middle name.
We've all been through the challenges of crossing borders and are truly passionate about changing that. Now, we want to make it easier for you!
Curious about how it all started? Read our story below!
5 years ago, CEO Hanna moved to China for work. The relocation wasn’t easy and almost brought her into trouble as she didn’t know that you had to register with the police upon arrival. She wondered if there was a way to make it easier for people to move for work... and the idea for Localyze was born!
Back in Hamburg, the three founders got to work. They had known each other for over 15 years and had all experienced the pain of relocating. As COO Lisa had relocated over 300 people through her role in HR, she knew what companies needed - and it all came together into what Localyze does today!
Half a year after founding Localyze, the company was accepted into Y Combinator - the mother of all accelerators. Localyze spent 6 months in Silicon Valley learning from the best and taking the first steps towards the international expansion.
Our mission is to build a role model for international teams operating across borders and help people move at ease, everywhere. We have relocated people from over 100 countries, and with our Localitos working across 15 countries, we are continuing to build our footprint across the globe.
We are backed by great investors, from Hamburg to San Francisco. Like us, they are truly international and know what it means to operate across borders.
